Branding Takes Away Our Choices (and That’s a Good Thing!)

YES! YES! YES!

Branding creates customer loyalty!

If done right, branding is what keeps customers coming back for more!

Your branding can mean that when a person needs to buy a vacuum, and lets face it, it doesn’t happen that often… but when it does, it could mean they think of your vacuum shop and not your competitor down the street.

Branding means that when someone thinks of a service or product they need to buy, they think of your brand first.

Branding gives consumers awareness of your brand.

So that when they do need something… your brand comes to mind.

For example…

Every time I go to buy shower gel, I get very cranky.
I’m female – I get lost in the pretty colours, the fancy wording, the references to food (I wish they wouldn’t do that!) even though I know the smell of shower gel will not stay on my skin…never happens… But I spend ages trying to decide…
Do I want to come out of the shower smelling of lavender fields or blueberry ginger jam?
So I get frustrated and overwhelmed.
WHY so many choices?
In the end I end up reaching for the same brand I get every week.

WHY?

Because simply – I know it does its job. The packaging (branding) communicates effectively a solution to my problem, the brand is well known and has been around for donkeys years, and the branding message is consistent.

As consumers we are inundated with CHOICES – from toothpaste to computers, frozen peas to mascara, legal services to bottled water!

Strong branding makes a business memorable and makes our choices easier!

Stand out in your marketplace with a solid, professional brand.
